State General Secretry of Pradesh Congress Committee and MLA bandipora Usman Majid condemns the killing of Five civilians in an encounter between militants and Security forces in Shopian District of South Kashmir, say Spring Bloom turned Red again by PDP-BJP Govt and has failed in every aspect.

Majid lashed out at the forces for resorting to indiscriminate force resulting in death of Five civilians and injuries to dozens. Usman Majid termed the firing on protestors as Quite unfortunate”, he said that such type of incidents would further alienate the people and vitiate the peaceful atmosphere in the state. He said that Both State & Centre Govt has failed to restore peace in the Kashmir valley, Civilian killings add more fuel to the fire, which is not in the interest of peace & stability, rather it wil have serious ramifications on the peace initiatives.

This Bloodshed should end now. He said that Security Forces need to add more importance to lives of civilians & ensure that no civilian causality happens in the larger interests of peace He said that the civilian killings & injuries to hundreds wil remain the cause behind deteriorating situation in Kashmir Valley.

Chief Minister MehboobaMufti cannot escape the responsibility of loss of lives in Kashmir Valley. Both State & Centre government failed to ensure the safety of people. The situation in Kashmir has worsened to a greater extent due to the mis-governance & misrule on the Part of PDP BJP Govt, besides the lackadaisical attitude on the part of Narender modi Govt. with regard to Kashmir situation has further added chaos to the situation, he added. Usman majid questioned the promises made by Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti to protect innocent people and ensure peaceful atmosphere in the state.
